About the Talk

这是一场关于离开与归来、记忆与归属、距离与连接的展览。
我们生活在一个不断迁徙的时代。有人离开故乡，在另一座城市重新建立生活；有人跨越语言与文化，在不同身份之间寻找自己的位置；也有人与家人、朋友、熟悉的土地相隔万里，却始终被某些记忆、习惯与情感牵引着。

「流散」并不只是离开，「团圆」也不只是相聚。它们更像是一段持续发生的生命经验——我们在不同的地方生活、成长、改变，也在记忆中不断回望：自己从哪里来，以及什么让我们仍然彼此相连。
十位来自不同文化背景的艺术家与创作者，从迁徙、家庭、故乡、身份、记忆、信仰与归属出发，以油画、陶瓷、摄影、中国画、细木镶嵌、拼贴、出版与设计等不同形式，呈现属于他们的「流散」与「团圆」。

在这些故事之间，你或许会发现：即使身在远方，我们仍然可以找到回家的路；即使来自不同的地方，也可以在同一个空间里相遇。

This is an exhibition about leaving and returning, memory and belonging, distance and connection.
We live in an age of constant migration. Some leave home to build a life in another city. Some cross languages and cultures, searching for their place between identities. Some live thousands of kilometres from family, friends and familiar ground, yet remain tethered by certain memories, habits and feelings.

Diaspora is not only leaving, and reunion is not only coming together. They are closer to an ongoing lived experience — we live, grow and change in different places, while looking back through memory at where we came from, and at what still holds us to one another.
Ten artists and makers from different cultural backgrounds respond through oil painting, ceramics, photography, Chinese painting, marquetry, collage, publishing and design — each offering their own diaspora, and their own reunion.

Among these stories you may find that even far from home, there is still a way back; and that people from different places can still meet in one room.

The doors are open for six days. Come whenever you can — you may recognise a stretch of your own road in one of these works.

主视觉：大雁的迁徙　
The Key Visual: The Migration of Wild Geese

我们以「大雁迁徙」作为本次主视觉的核心意象。每年，大雁离开熟悉之地，跨越山海，最终回到归属之处。这不仅映照着许多海外华人的生命经验——移民、留学、跨文化生活与身份寻找，也呼应了《圣经》贯穿始终的救赎故事：人因罪而流散，神却不断呼召、聚集祂的百姓，直到万民在基督里归回，与神、与彼此和好。

海报中的「独飞、群聚与远方航班」，分别象征个人的漂泊、群体的重聚，以及这个时代真实发生的离散故事；中央的圆形构图则寓意完整、归回与盼望——真正的团圆，不只是回到原点，而是在基督里重新寻回身份、归属与共同的家。

The migration of wild geese sits at the centre of this year’s key visual. Each year the geese leave familiar ground, cross mountains and seas, and return at last to where they belong. It mirrors the lived experience of many overseas Chinese — migration, study abroad, life between cultures, and the long search for identity. It also echoes the story of redemption running through the whole of Scripture: humanity scattered by sin, and God calling and gathering his people still, until all nations return in Christ, reconciled to God and to one another.

The three motifs in the poster — a lone bird in flight, a gathering flock, and flights bound for somewhere far away — stand for the drift of one person, the reunion of a community, and the stories of dispersal happening in our own time. The circular composition at its centre speaks of wholeness, return and hope: true reunion is not simply arriving back where we started, but finding again, in Christ, our identity, our belonging, and a home we share.
