Liem Cheung is an award-winning branding and packaging designer with over three decades of experience shaping global brand identities. His work — recognised by top industry honours, including the Pentawards and Vertex Awards — spans Greater China, the Asia-Pacific region, and Australia. A graduate of Melbourne’s Swinburne University of Technology, Liem seamlessly bridges strategic design with fine art. Grounded in Eastern art philosophy and Western contemporary minimalism, he distils complex brand values into elegant, cross-cultural visual languages. Beyond his commercial practice, Liem is dedicated to enriching the design community through art exhibitions, education, mentorship, and charitable initiatives.

Naarm / Melbourne
Jiayu Cheng is an art director, publisher and graphic designer based in Naarm/Melbourne. He is the founding partner of Sandwich Press, an award-winning independent design studio and art book publisher, and also runs Studio Jiayu, collaborating with cultural organisations, institutions and businesses across Australia and Asia. His practice explores visual communication, publishing, print, colour and cross-cultural design. Jiayu also lectures at RMIT University’s School of Design and Monash University, fostering thoughtful, process-driven and socially engaged design practices. His work has been recognised by the AGDA Awards and Victorian Premier’s Design Awards.

Xiaofei Ge is an oil painter based in Melbourne, Australia. Originally from Nantong, Jiangsu, China, he holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Nanjing Art College and a Master’s degree from the Institute of Arts, Nanjing University. Working primarily in figurative and portrait painting, Ge explores the psychological presence and inner world of his subjects. His paintings seek to capture subtle emotional states and the complexities of human experience, using portraiture as a means of understanding the world and reflecting on the self.
Yan Wen HuangMarquetry

Yan Wen Huang is based in Melbourne, where he has studied marquetry under local craftsmen for more than twenty years. His work brings together Chinese and Western cultural elements, expressing the harmony, humility and coexistence between people and the natural world. Each piece is built from thin slices of wood gathered from around the world — cut, fitted and assembled into a single inlaid picture, then sanded and finally lacquered.

Elizabete Veronica is a graphic designer and mixed media artist based in Melbourne/Narrm and Macau. Mostly inspired from daily life, her work captures the interaction and culture of the two places that she loves. Working with watercolour, collage and film photography, she creates publications and artworks that express her love for connection and diversity. Her works are sometimes calm, almost therapeutic and other times expressive. This is typified in her recent collage work ‘overlooked beauty’. She upcycled receipts and packages collected from her daily life to create collages. This work challenges viewers to reflect on the topic of micrographic design and repurpose. She is currently developing a self directed project around the topic of love and grief. Being experimental with her work, she gathers ideas through conversation from people she knows and translates them in her work. Others would describe her work as evocative with a whimsical touch and an abstract devotion of self.
John NingChinese painting

John Ning currently resides in Melbourne. He has loved painting since childhood. In the early 1970s, he studied Chinese painting, oil painting and printmaking at the Guangzhou Art Academy. Later, due to work circumstances, he put down his paintbrush until retirement. In 2015, he resumed painting at the Guangzhou Mass Art Museum’s Chinese painting class, specialising in landscapes while also painting flowers, birds, insects and fish.

Lingzhi Shao is a Melbourne-based ceramic artist with a postgraduate background in sculpture. Her practice centres on figurative vessels, bringing together sculptural expression and functional ceramics through hand-building. Deeply informed by her faith, she explores the relationship between the body, the vessel and human experience. Her work reflects on individuality, vulnerability and transformation, inviting viewers to encounter everyday objects as vessels carrying love, grace, hope and the possibility of renewal.

Wensi Sun is a Melbourne-based artist working primarily with oil painting and mixed media. Informed by classical painting traditions and contemporary feminist discourse, her practice explores female identity, vulnerability, autonomy, and the social expectations placed upon women. Through intimate portraiture and figurative imagery, she examines the body as a site where desire, responsibility, and societal pressures intersect. Her work focuses on quiet, personal moments to reveal the often-unspoken complexities of womanhood, care, and agency.

Glen Yao graduated in Industrial Design (Arts) from Shenyang Aerospace University and is now based in Melbourne. His background blends engineering logic with aesthetic sensibility. Currently specialising in giclée printing, he infuses Melbourne’s vibrant art scene into precise digital imaging, dedicated to restoring artistic authenticity through the finest expression of colour and material.

Dr. Jason Lam
Dr Jason Lam was born and raised in Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge, UK. He then returned to Hong Kong, where he served as Academic Officer of the Institute of Sino-Christian Studies for more than a decade. Since 2019, he has served as Senior Lecturer at Melbourne School of Theology
Rev Dr. Justin Tan
Rev Dr Justin Tan deeply loves art and literature from a young age, but due to the pressure from family, he gave up his interest to become a chemical engineer. After his switch to become a Theological lecturer, he is now able to keep up his deep interest in art and literature again.
Justin was the vice-principal of Melbourne School Theology, and now serve as the Director of Centre for the Study of Chinese Christianity (CSCC)
Prof. Yuanhua Yu
Prof. Yuanhua Yu has over 41 years of experience in information technology, enterprise architecture, and business transformation across multiple industries. He has served in senior professional roles, including Chief Technology Executive and Chief Enterprise Architect at HP, and Chief Industry Advisor and Chief Enterprise Architect at Infosys. He has also taught and conducted academic research for many years, including at RMIT University in Melbourne. His research interests span enterprise transformation, IT strategy, management theory, Chinese and Western strategic thought, traditional Chinese health philosophy, and cross-cultural philosophy.
